On January 20, 2019, the marriage of seven blind girls was organized at the “Andhakanya Prakash Grih” organization located in Ahmedabad. The seven girls were given the entire household items and all the things they needed, and a box bed (bed with storage) were presented as a gift to the seven girls by our organization Aadishakti Foundation. All the members of Aadishakti Foundation Gujarat helped with their resources in completing this work, 30 to 35 members were present in the marriage giving their valuable time.
A very commendable work of service and co-operation was done by the entire executive committee of the Aadishakti Foundation in Manilal Gandhi Old Age Home. The organization distributed ration for 2 months to about 60 elderly people living in old age homes and distributed fruits, ice cream, juices.
Mother’s Day celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm in Old Age Home by Aadishakti Foundation Uttar Pradesh unit.

VOLUNTEER WORK BY AADISHAKTI MEMBER
Aadishakti Foundation Uttar Pradesh volunteer had taken the initiative to teach poor children at her home during summer vacations, these are the children whose parents used to work as labor workers, often the children’s mothers work in people’s homes. Teaching these children English and Mathematics subjects for 2 hours daily, along with singing and dancing classes were also taken once in a week. We salute this spirit of the volunteers.
Courtesy of Aadishakti Foundation Uttar Pradesh, on the occasion of International Yoga Day, a yoga camp was organized at Park No.2 of Rashmi Khand, Lucknow.
Adishakti Foundation Uttar Pradesh Unit started a summer camp for underprivileged children, on the last day of the summer camp, closing ceremony was organized and awarded with some gifts relate to education and sports .
Adishakti Foundation Gujrat Unit installed a sanitary napkin machine in a girls’ school located in Vastral, Ahmedabad, along with important health related information was also given to the girls, as per the awareness program.
AWARENESS PROGRAM
Aadishakti Foundation met the Amarsagar Anganwadi workers in Jaisalmer and apprised the women of the area about health related problems, along with information about nutritious food for children and women, women’s health, education and women empowerment, as well as child marriage. Appealed for cooperation in child labor prevention.
